The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing Sales in the key account channel by servicing existing customers, prospecting for and gaining new customers and effectively covering designated territory to achieve corporate sales and gross profit objectives.
Scanning the market for and following up with new customers.
Fostering close working relationships with customers through direct visits and follow-up calls.
Servicing customers by checking stock, compiling orders and collecting payments.
Supplying customers with product information, sell sheets, pricing, samples and any other suitable marketing material in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
Assisting with the resolution of payment issues in collaboration with the Finance Department.
Advising customers of the advantages and opportunities of new product offerings.
Assisting with the continuous improvement of product offerings by providing customer feedback.
Liaising with all areas of the Company involved in ensuring that products are efficiently delivered to customers.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
A working knowledge of the retail trade.
Five (5) CXC passes inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Sales.
Must be Computer Literate.
Must own a vehicle.
